About the Treatment

Bone augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to rebuild or supplement jawbone in preparation for dental implants. After tooth loss, the bone in the area gradually resorbs, sometimes leaving insufficient bone for stable implant placement. The procedure involves adding bone material (from the patient, a donor, or synthetic sources). The new bone integrates with existing bone, creating a stable foundation for implants. Soft tissue augmentation may also be required for optimal aesthetics.
